MY ETSY JOURNEY
When I first discovered the concept of earning “passive income” online by selling digital products, I was so intrigued. Any side hustles I started before that were burning me out and required endless hours of my time every day.
So after a lot of research, I decided to start selling my digital designs (wedding stationery and branding templates) on Etsy. I put in so many hours of work into building my first Etsy shop that was filled with super random digital products that I thought would make sales right away. To my surprise at the time, my shop made zero sales for the first month. I had no idea what I was doing wrong, and I was so frustrated that I decided to shut it down.
I went back to the drawing board to figure out how I could make this work. I studied other Etsy shops, watched YouTube videos, read articles (including Etsy's Seller handbook), took courses, and began to implement everything I learned. I opened a printable wall art shop in 2020 and made my first sale after 2 weeks! This small win motivated me to continue growing my shop and improving it based on feedback and my analytics. Now my shop now continues to generate daily traffic and sales and allows me to earn passive income every month selling printables.
